Tub & Shower for the Guest Bathroom.
Toni says her guest bathroom is tiny, yet she feels that “even a small bath can have the luxury of an Americh tub”. She used the Americh Turo 7232. To that she added beautiful tile, a pop of blue and hardware for function as well as style.
Her new bathroom is large on style with a roomy tub & shower combination. The Americh Turo 7232 is long and narrow at 72″ x 32″ and has an ample 55″ x 22″ tub floor for dancing in the shower or lounging in the tub. The long legroom is due in part to the lumbar support on this tub. As illustrated above, the backrest starts to angle down from the top of the tub. After that the backrest curves down, and finally drops straight down. This creates a bump that gives lumbar support.
There is more designed in to the Turo 7232 to make it a perfect tub & shower choice. It has a 21″ step over height and holds 15 7/8″ of water (bottom of overflow). The tile flange is integral to the tub construction, making leakage between the wall and the tub nearly impossible. The front skirt is integral, giving this alcove tub a modern seamless look. It doesn’t allow access to a motor through the skirt. Access is needed from the backrest side if a motor (or 2) are added to create an Americh hydrotherapy tub.
